The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

NowLebanon - Lebanese businessman goes missing, reports New TV, August 17 2012


A Lebanese citizen, identified as Raja al-Zouhairi, went missing on Thursday, New TV reported, adding that his car and some of his personal belongings were found in Aramoun in Mount Lebanon.
The report added that Zouhairi owns a gas station; however, it did not elaborate any further.

Meanwhile, LBC television reported that “Zouhairi was abducted for financial reasons,” adding that a Progressive Socialist Party delegation met with a Hezbollah delegation “to reveal the circumstances of the incident.”
