The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

The Daily Star - Lebanese man kidnapped in Bekaa village, August 24 2012


BEIRUT: A Lebanese man was kidnapped Friday in the Bekaa village of Furzol, security sources told The Daily Star.
Three armed men snatched Mohammad Hasan Sabra from the vegetable market after intercepting his vehicle.
They drove off in their black Cherokee Jeep to an unknown destination.
