Now Lebanon - An-Nahar: Hezbollah to ignore STL’s last request to summon party members - September 28, 2010

An-Nahar newspaper reported on Tuesday that Hezbollah will not respond to the recent request by the Special Tribunal for Lebanon (STL) to summon new Hezbollah members for questioning over the 2005 assassination of former Prime Minister Rafik Hariri.
According to media reports, Hezbollah Deputy Secretary General Sheikh Naim Qassem revealed last week that his party received a new request from the STL to question Hezbollah members.
Earlier in the year, Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah confirmed that the STL did in fact summon 12 party members. However, he said that they were summoned as witnesses, and not as suspects.
