The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

Naharnet - Fayez Karam to Be Handed over to Military Police Following Release from Hospital - September 29, 2010


Alleged "Israeli spy" retired Lebanese army officer Fayez Karam will be handed over to the Lebanese Army military police for further interrogation following his release from hospital, attorney Rashad Salameh said.
He said State Prosecutor Saeed Mirza agreed that the military police take over Karam's interrogation.

Karam was being interrogated by the police intelligence bureau.
