The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

iloubnan - ISF sets hotline for families of inmates in Roumieh prison - April 8, 2011

Lebanese Interior Security Forces issued a statement on Friday saying that a direct land-line with the number 01/892999 has been set in Roumieh prison. Families of the inmates can call the prison management to ask about the inmates, starting 2 pm on April 8, 2011.

The statement said the land-line was established according to the instructions of Interior Minister Ziad Baroud and ISF chief Asharf Rifi to form a committee to look ino the security, logistic, medical, nutritional, maintenance and equipment needs in Roumieh Prison.
