The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

Now Lebanon - Al-Jumhuriya: Estonian delegation follows up on kidnapping investigation - April 13, 2011

Al-Jumhuriya newspaper reported on Wednesday that an Estonian delegation is currently in Lebanon to follow up on the investigation into the abduction of seven Estonians in the Bekaa last month.
The daily added that the delegation is undertaking various security and political contacts in an effort to obtain the victims’ release.
“Diplomatic channels also requested Syrian support to reveal the mystery in this case and release the Estonians,” the daily added.
Seven Estonians were kidnapped near the Bekaa city of Zahle on March 23 after they had entered Lebanon from Syria on their bikes. More than seven people have been arrested to date for involvement in the case.
