The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

The Daily Star - Two men admit to drug dealing after cocaine found - April 14, 2011

The National News Agency reported that a police patrol in Shoueifat arrested the two after 120 grams of cocaine and a sensitive digital scale were found in the Volvo they were driving.
During a search of one suspect’s house, the police found 117 grams of cocaine, divided into 150 envelopes ready to be sold, another sensitive scale and a Smith & Wesson pistol. Police arrested one of the suspect’s wives as well.
During interrogation, the suspects admitted that they had been dealing drugs for five years. It was also revealed that the suspect whose house was searched was already wanted on charges of drug dealing and drug use.
BEIRUT: Police arrested two men on charges of drug trafficking after finding large amounts of cocaine in their possession.
