The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

The Daily Star - Two men arrested for plethora of crimes - April 11, 2011

BEIRUT: Two men wanted for different crimes have been arrested in the Tayouneh and Behsas areas, the National News Agency reported. Judicial police patrols arrested the two men Sunday and Monday.
The man arrested in the Beirut suburb of Tayouneh was wanted on charges of robbery, theft, shooting, assaulting a patrol, obstructing a patrol’s work, weapon theft, causing harm, violating building regulations and building on public property. The man who was arrested in Behsas in Tripoli was wanted on charges of fraud, theft, shooting at a customs patrol using a military weapon, cashing a check without balance, and violating building and traffic regulations.
