The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

Now Lebanon - Judge questions suspects in Estonian kidnapping case, issues warrants - April 14, 2011

Military Investigative Judge Fadi Sawwan questioned seven persons, including one Syrian, who had been arrested on suspicion of involvement in the March kidnapping of seven Estonians in the Bekaa Valley, the National News Agency (NNA) reported Thursday.
Sawwan issued warrants for their continued detention and also issued arrest warrants in absentia for five fugitives suspected of involvement in the case, the NNA said.
The seven Estonians were kidnapped near the Bekaa city of Zahle on March 23 after they had entered Lebanon from Syria on their bikes. More than seven people have been arrested to date for involvement in the case.
