The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

Now Lebanon - Russian envoy meets with Hariri, backs STL - April 11, 2011

Outgoing Prime Minister Saad Hariri met on Monday with Russian Ambassador to Lebanon Alexander Zasypkin, after which the envoy voiced his country’s support for the Special Tribunal for Lebanon (STL).
Zasypkin said that Russia supports “a thorough and non-politicized investigation” into former PM Rafik Hariri’s 2005 assassination, according to a statement issued by Hariri’s office.
He also said that he addressed the latest developments in the Middle East during his meeting with Hariri.
