Now Lebanon - Sakr: Government collapse will not stop STL indictment - September 4

Whoever thinks that the collapse of the government would prevent the issuance of an indictment from the Special Tribunal for Lebanon (STL) is “delusional,” Lebanon First bloc MP Okab Sakr told MTV on Saturday.

Tawhid Movement leader Wiam Wahhab said on August 15 that opposition ministers should resign if the STL’s funding is not withdrawn.

In July, Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah said that the tribunal is an Israeli project and will indict Hezbollah members.

“Some of those who want to change the government cannot, and those who could do not want to,” Sakr added.
