The Daily Star - Special parking card for disabilities to be issued, April 10, 2015

The Social Affairs Ministry announced Thursday that it would provide a special parking card to people with disabilities, beginning next week.

“This card is meant exclusively for those carrying the personal disability card who need help, are constantly accompanied by someone else, or use a wheelchair and crutches or any device for transportation purposes, prosthetics and other devices,” the statement read.

“Not everyone with a personal disability card has the right to get a special parking card.” The card, which will be issued from April 15, will be distributed in centers that also distribute personal disability cards. The card will permit car owners to park, if there is no available parking, in areas where it is forbidden, the statement said.
