iloubnan - Daher: no body could halt the STL performance - July 25, 2011

Future Bloc member MP Khalid Daher said on Monday that the Special Tribunal for Lebanon, probing the assassination case of Martyr Rafic Hariri and related crimes, would remain on track and no body could halt its performance, because the majority of Lebanese voiced support for justice and truth.

Don't dream of grabbing hold of the authority as long as there are Lebanese who adore dignity and freedom, Daher addressed the loyalists of Mikati-led cabinet.

Speaking during an educational ceremony set by "Al-Ilm wa Iman" secondary school of old Akkar, Daher said that the cabinet came by force, on behalf of the Syrian and Iranian regimes, to threaten the other instead of looking into daily life matters of citizens and solving the local economic problems.

They (cabinet loyalists) did not care for productive sectors nor for filling vacancies at public administrations; rather, they only cared for holding security positions so as to gain more control over the country, the deputy explained.
