The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

The Daily Star - Child drowns near beach south of Beirut - July 28, 2011

BEIRUT: A 7-year-old child drowned near Khaldeh beach, the state-run National News Agency reported Wednesday.
Rabih Sultan Abu Fakher drowned near Khaldeh public beach Tuesday evening around 6 p.m.
Civil Defense workers from the Marine Rescue Unit were able to recover his body.
