The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

L'orient Le Jour - Cellphones found on Roumieh inmates - July 22, 2011

BEIRUT: Several inmates in Roumieh prison were allegedly found in possession of mobile phones and prepaid phone cards Wednesday, a security source told The Daily Star.
According to the source, members of the ISF confiscated two Nokia mobile phones and three prepaid phone cards from Jamal Habshi, a detainee.
Two Nokia mobile phones equipped with cameras and two prepaid phone cards were also confiscated from inmates Ali Awad and Abdel-Nasser Moqdad. Another two mobile phones and two prepaid phone cards were confiscated from inmates Rabih and Pascal Zeaiter.
