The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

The Daily Star - Media watchdog slams attack on MTV crew - July 21, 2011

BEIRUT: Media watchdog group Samir Kassir Eyes condemned Wednesday an attack on a crew from television station MTV in the village of Lassa, Jbeil, Tuesday.
SKEyes also condemned an attack against another MTV crew which took place Tuesday in Burj al-Barajneh, south of Beirut.
“These attacks constitute a blatant infringement on freedom of expression … and are an attempt to drag the media into conflicts between different parties,” the statement said.
