The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

The Daily Star - Fight over young woman leaves man hospitalized - July 21, 2011

BEIRUT: A man was sent to the hospital with fractures Tuesday night after a personal dispute turned violent in Beirut’s southern suburbs, a security source said.
The source told The Daily Star that Hussein Abdo Faitrouni, 26, received bruises and fractures during a fight with a group of men near Abbas City in Hay al-Sellom, following a dispute regarding a young woman.
