The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

Now Lebanon - Indicted Hezbollah STL suspect stripped of position, paper reports, October 21, 2011

Al-Liwaa newspaper reported Friday that Mustafa Badreddine—one of the men indicted by the Special Tribunal for Lebanon for the 2005 assassination of former PM Rafik Hariri—“has been stripped of his position in Hezbollah and is probably outside Lebanon.”The daily added that security forces have “redoubled their efforts” to find Badreddine and fellow indicted suspect Salim Ayyash.Four members of Hezbollah have been indicted by the tribunal. However, the Shia group strongly denied the charges and refuses to cooperate with the court.
