iloubnan-Funding STL means recognizing it, says Tohme, December 1, 2011

Future bloc member MP Nidal Tohme told Free Lebanon radio station on Thursday that Lebanon's payment of its $ 32.6 million share of STL means the recognition of this tribunal.

Tohme said that PM Mikati transferred Lebanon's share of the tribunal which is probing the 2005 assassination of former Prime Minister Rafik Hariri, because he knows that Syria is the one who formed the cabinet and does not want its collapse.

"Syria's priority in Lebanon is to keep this cabinet since it's the only cabinet in the Arab world which defends the Syrian regime", the MP stressed.

Finally, Tohme thanked Mikati for fulfilling his duty and funding the tribunal.
