Now Lebanon - Daher says Mikati’s cabinet is against STL - July 08, 2011

Future bloc MP Khaled al-Daher told the Free Lebanon radio station on Friday that Prime Minister Najib Mikati’s cabinet is Syrian President Bashar al-Assad’s cabinet and is against the Special Tribunal for Lebanon (STL).
Daher further added that a cabinet which staged a coup against the Lebanese people cannot be accepted, and asked: “Isn’t Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah in charge of the cabinet while Mikati is just the cabinet’s figurehead?”
When asked about the national-dialogue sessions, Daher said that he does not think such an invitation would be accepted by March 14 since President Michel Sleiman did not commit to the national-unity cabinet pledge that he made in front of the parliament.
Mikati’s cabinet, which was formed in June, was granted parliament’s vote of confidence on Thursday, as the PM vowed his cabinet would cooperate with the STL which is probing the 2005 assassination of former PM Rafik Hariri.
However, Mikati's program includes an ambiguously worded clause stipulating that Lebanon will "respect" international resolutions as long as they do not threaten peace and stability.
