The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

Now Lebanon - Germany, France and Turkey helped release Estonian cyclists, says Estonia’s FM - July 14, 2011

Estonian Foreign Minister Urmas Paet told LBC television on Thursday that France, Germany and Turkey helped to attain the release of the seven Estonians, adding that other parties also contributed to the Estonians’ release.
The kidnapped Estonians were freed in Lebanon Thursday after being abducted by armed men, as they entered the country on a bicycle tour from neighboring Syria.
