The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

Now Lebanon - Mikati follows up on Estonian case - July 14, 2011

The National News Agency reported that Prime Minister Najib Mikati followed up on the case of the seven Estonians who were freed on Thursday almost four months after being abducted by armed men.
French Ambassador to Lebanon Denis Pietton called the Lebanese PM to brief him on France’s efforts to free the EU citizens, said the report.
It added that Estonian Foreign Minister Urmas Paet contacted Mikati and that they will meet at the Grand Serail once the former arrives in Beirut later on Thursday.
Seven kidnapped Estonians were freed in Lebanon Thursday almost four months after being abducted by armed men as they entered the country on a bicycle tour from neighboring Syria.
