The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

Daily Star - 10 people arrested for drug use, police seek dealer, October 20, 2011

BEIRUT: Ten people were arrested for drug use in Nabatieh Wednesday and police are seeking the dealer who supplied them, the National News Agency reported.According to the NNA, nine of the arrested were in their early to mid-20s, while one was 47 years old.They were all transferred to the public prosecutor’s office in Nabatieh for interrogation. The report also said that the authorities are looking for the dealer based on the suspects’ testimonies.
