The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

Daily Star - Court charges 2 men for collaborating with Israel, October 20, 2011

BEIRUT: Two Lebanese men, including an imam, were charged Wednesday by the Military Tribunal for collaborating with Israel.Sheikh Hasan Mshaimesh and Samer Ali Hajj were charged for working with Israel and providing the Jewish state with information on Hezbollah in return for money.Mshaimesh is an imam in the Nabatieh village of Kfar Sir. Judge Saqr Saqr referred the two men to the military magistrate. They face the death penalty if convicted.
