The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

Iloubnan - STL funding would put all sides on the brink, says Jisr, October 18, 2011


MP Samir Jisr told Voice of Lebanon radio station on Tuesday that Lebanon could not confront international community, adding that tribunal funding issue would put all sides on the brink. The MP said that "Hezbollah and its team are against STL funding", pointing out that President Michel Sleiman and Prime Minister Najib Mikati confirmed their commitment to international obligations.
