The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

L'Orient le jour - Achkar chez le ministre Nazem Khoury, October 6, 2011

Massoud Achkar s’est rendu hier chez le ministre de l’Environnement Nazem Khoury avec qui il a évoqué un certain nombre de questions à caractère écologique qui se posent à la population de Beyrouth, notamment à Achrafieh. Le ministre de l’Environnement s’est engagé à  trouver des solutions aux problèmes soulevés.
