The Daily Star- Ex-Hezbollah chief urges surrender of indicted men, December , 3, 2011

By Rakan al-Fakih

BAALBEK, Lebanon: The former secretary-general of Hezbollah has urged the party to hand over four members indicted in the 2005 assassination of former Prime Minister Rafik Hariri to overcome the crisis over the Special Tribunal for Lebanon.
Speaking during a gathering to mark Ashura in the village of Brital Thursday night, Toufeili, who is at odds with Hezbollah’s leadership, called for “an internal understanding” to hand over the four suspects to stand trial.
“Those whose names were mentioned by the tribunal, whether they are innocent or not, let them sacrifice for the sake of their nation and Muslim resistance fighters in general by surrendering even if they were innocent and among the most senior mujahedeen (holy warriors).”
