iloubnan- Hashem hails STL funding as national interest, December 4, 2011

Development and Liberation Bloc MP Qassem Hashem said Sunday that funding the Special Tribunal for Lebanon (STL) is in the best interest of the country, without trespassing over anyone's authority or will.

"The people do not care about funding the STL, because they know very well it has trespassed all constitutional and national protocol and became a part of international struggle and a tool of international exploitation," said Hashem.

The MP voiced support for the Syrian regime currently suffering from people's uprising and Arab League sanctions and accused the League of turning into an offshore American contractual company for revolutions.
