BEIRUT: The Military Tribunal issued
sentences Monday against a Palestinian detainee and a Lebanese fugitive on
charges of collaborating with Israel, a judicial source told The Daily Star.
The tribunal, headed by Brigadier
Khalil Ibrahim, sentenced Palestinian detainee Khaled Abdullah Qann to 10 years
in prison with hard labor after convicting him of collaborating with Israeli
intelligence since the year 2000 and providing them with information on civil
and military sites, as well as political and party figures.
The tribunal also sentenced Lebanese
fugitive Atieh Jerji Atieh to 15 years in prison with hard labor on charges of
contacting the Israeli enemy.
The tribunal also stripped Atieh of his civil
rights. http://www.dailystar.com.lb/News/Local-News/2012/Mar-13/166448-palestinian-lebanese-sentenced-over-israel-links.ashx#axzz1ouRwUPc3
