The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

Naharnet - Al-Lino Hands Over Palestinian Drug Trafficker to Lebanese Army

Head of the Palestinian Armed Struggle Mohammed Abdel Hamid Issa handed over to the Lebanese army intelligence a drug trafficker, Palestinian sources at the southern refugee camp of Ain el-Hilweh said.Issa also goes by the nom de guerre of al-Lino. The sources told al-Mustaqbal newspaper in remarks published Thursday that the 40-year-old suspect was arrested at a Palestinian Armed Struggle checkpoint while attempting to enter the camp from its southern entrance.The drug trafficker was identified as Issam Suleiman al-Yasiri. He was carrying 1 kilogram of drugs during his arrest, the sources said.According to al-Mustaqbal, al-Yasiri had been previously jailed for five years in a previous drug trafficking case
