The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

The Daily Star - NGO says women should be given civil service posts - July 08, 2011

BEIRUT: Women should figure prominently when the new government begins to make a series of civil service appointments, a local NGO is urging.
The National Committee for Lebanese Women said Thursday that the government of Prime Minister Najib Mikati “shouldn’t repeat the mistake of not including any women in the new Cabinet.”
