Now Lebanon - Abu Ramia: STL is a weapon against Hezbollah, Syria - July 08, 2011

Change and Reform bloc MP Simon Abu Ramia said on Friday that the UN-backed, Special Tribunal for Lebanon (STL) was established to be used as a weapon against Hezbollah and Syria if need be.
Abu Ramia told Otv that “the national dialogue can be a solution agreed upon by all Lebanese to find means to reveal the truth behind the assassination of former Prime Minister Rafik Hariri.”
“The STL work will continue but life must go on regardless of it,” he added.
On Thursday, the STL said in a statement published on its website that the indictment and accompanying arrest warrants were transmitted to the Lebanese authorities.
However, Nasrallah on Saturday said he would never hand over the four, adding that the Netherlands-based court was heading for a trial in absentia.
