Now Lebanon - Nine ministers voiced reservations over ministerial statement’s STL clause, paper reports - July 01, 2011

An-Nahar newspaper reported on Friday that nine ministers voiced their reservations over the ministerial statement’s clause concerning the Special Tribunal for Lebanon (STL).
The report added that the ministers in question are members of President Michel Sleiman, Prime Minister Najib Mikati and Progressive Socialist Party leader MP Walid Jumblatt’s cabinet shares.
However, An-Nahar did not elaborate further.
The STL said in a statement published on its website that the indictment and accompanying arrest warrants were transmitted to the Lebanese authorities on Thursday.
A judicial official told AFP that four Lebanese suspects were named in the STL’s indictment of the 2005 assassination of former PM Rafik Hariri.
Local media said at least two of them were members of the Iranian and Syrian-backed Hezbollah, which has warned it would defend itself if accused.
