Now Lebanon - STL indictment is still-born, Hezbollah MP says - July 01, 2011

Loyalty to the Resistance bloc MP Kamel al-Rifai said on Friday that the Special Tribunal for Lebanon’s (STL) indictment “is still-born and politicized.”
He told Al-Fajr radio that the timing of the issuance of the indictment “aims to besiege Prime Minister Najib Mikati and cause strife.”
The Hezbollah-backed MP added that his party “has commented enough on the indictment.”
The UN-backed international court on Thursday issued its indictment and arrest warrants for the 2005 assassination of former Prime Minister Rafik Hariri, with members of Hezbollah reportedly among those named.
Al-Manar television dismissed the court as "politicized" and said it bore the mark of being at the service of intelligence agencies.
The Iranian- and Syrian-backed Shia group has warned it would "cut off the hand" of anyone who attempts to arrest party members linked to the February 14, 2005 seaside bombing that killed Hariri and 22 others.
