The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

The Daily Star- STL appoints Okuizumi as deputy registrar, November , 17 , 2011

BEIRUT: The Special Tribunal for Lebanon Wednesday appointed a deputy registrar, Japanese national Kaoru Okuizumi.
The position has been vacant since the court’s Registrar, Herman von Hebel, was appointed in December 2010.
Okuizumi has extensive background in international criminal justice, having served in the registries of the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia and the Special Court for Sierra Leone.
She arrives to the STL from the U.N. Department of Peacekeeping Operations in New York and will be working alongside von Hebel for the Tribunal.
