iloubnan-Tripoli festival reflects people's will pro STL funding, says Tohmeh, November 29, 2011

MP Nidal Tohmeh said Tuesday that the independence festival organized Sunday by the Future Movement at Tripoli city was an interpretation to the people's will and their approbation to funding the special tribunal for Lebanon.

The Deputy hoped the Lebanese officials would realize that standing against the people's willpower is dangerous.

Tohmeh noted as well that the exit to the special tribunal's funding issue is actually a way out of the crisis which currently confronts the parties in power, sparing them the collapse of the government.

He called upon these leaders to stop running away as, sooner or later, they will have to comply with the people's will.
