The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

iloubnan- Suleiman to chair "Tripoli car free day", November 12, 2011

President of the Republic, General Michel Suleiman is planning to visit Tripoli Sunday to chair the opening of the event "Tripoli car free day" in al-Mina city, the presidental press office reported. 

Sleiman will inspect the gathering of the Lebanese University, the Palace of Justice and the Expansion of the port of Tripoli. He will also meet with Prime Minister Najib Mikati for a lunch in his honor at this latter's residence.
