iloubnan- Tohmeh calls for providing human requirements for Syrian refugees, November 15, 2011

MP Nehme Tohme highlighted Tuesday the importance of providing human requirements for the Syrian refugees.

"In light of the Syrian developments and Syria's standing at the front line of confrontation with the Arab community, it is inacceptable to leave the refugees helpless at our northern borders and without shelter," he said, assuring that "we hope for the Syrian people what we hope for ourselves, which is true democracy and freedom. "

The Deputy wondered "why to tie the special tribunal's funding decision to the lack of credibility it is accused of."

"If the special tribunal had totally lost its credibility, Lebanese officials should then announce it clearly giving us evidences and proofs for abstaining from the funding," he corroborated.

The MP reconfirmed the political presence of former Premier Saad Hariri despite his physical absence.
