The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

Now Lebanon - Israeli forces capture, release 11-year-old Lebanese boy, June 1, 2010

NOW Lebanon’s correspondent in the South said on Tuesday that an Israeli army unit crossed the Wazzani River over to the Lebanese side and kidnapped 11-year-old Mohammad Hayel Zaal al-Mohammad, who was herding sheep with his father.

However, Mohammad was released after 15 minutes when the Israeli army failed to lure in his father, the correspondent said.
