The Daily Star- Army denies restricting journalists’ access to north , November , 17 , 2011

BEIRUT: The Lebanese Army denied Wednesday that it was restricting access for journalists to cover events in north Lebanon, responding to claims that areas that Syrian refugees flee to were subject to restrictions.
The areas south of the Litani River and inside Palestinian refugee camps were the only areas that required special permission for domestic media, the army said.
Separately, the Higher Relief Committee announced Wednesday that 200 surgical operations had been performed for Syrian refugees in north Lebanon.
HRC officials distributed aid in the Wadi Khaled region of Akkar to more than 3,500 Syrians and an unspecified number of needy Lebanese hosting them. The aid included clothing, diapers, baby formula, kitchen supplies and coupons for heating oil.
