The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

iloubnan- Merehbi expresses satisfaction over refugees' aid, November 11, 2011

MP Mouin Merehbi expressed satisfaction because Prime Minister Najib Mikati agreed to send humanitarian aid to the Syrian refugees. 

The MP added that this issue was raised only when PM Mikati asked the Higher Relief Committee to halt medical care to the refugees. 

The MP pointed out that the number of the Syrian refugees who have fled to Lebanese towns exceeded 4500 persons but "we cannot know the real number".
