The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

Now Lebanon - Israel releases Lebanese detainees to Jordan, June 1, 2010

Now Lebanon correspondent Amal Shehadeh quoted an unnamed Israeli official as saying that a convoy headed toward the Jordanian border at 8:00 p.m. Tuesday to hand over 24 Arab detainees, including three Lebanese nationals.This comes after Israel detained all peace activists on board the Gaza-bound aid ships on Monday.
