BEIRUT | iloubnan.info / NNA - September 26, 2011
Speaking to "Voice of Lebanon" radio station, MP Mohammed Hajjar called on the Lebanese government to pay Lebanon's share to the Special Tribunal for Lebanon an finance it, hailing the position of the President of the Republic Michel Sleiman who voiced his commitment to the tribunal during his speech at the United Nations. Commenting on the spiritual summit to be held on Tuesday among Lebanon's main religious groups, Hajjar said that communication between the religious sects on this level is very important. "Freedom, justice and democracy are principles aimed at salvaging all people. These principles are not confined to one specific group," the MP said. He reminded that the slogans raised during the Cedar revolution have inspired the Arab revolutions in the Middle East.
