The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

December 24,2009 - Daily Star Lebanon Lawsuit filed against suspected Qarantina bridge killer.doc

BEIRUT: Beirut Lawyer of Appeals Judge Bilal al-Donnawi filed a lawsuit on Wednesday against Georges Ayyoub, suspected of killing Samer Hussein on the Hazmieh Qarantine Highway last Friday. The case was transferred to Beirut First Investigating Magistrate Ghassan Oueidat and Ayyoub could be facing death penalty. – The Daily Star
