The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

December 29, 2009 - The Daily Star - Lebanon Metn MP Visits Lebanese Disappeared

BEIRUT: Metn MP Ghassan Moukheiber along with political activist Massoud al-Ashkar visited the parents of the Lebanese disappeared and detained in Syria on Monday at the Gebran Khalil Gebran Garden facing the United Nations House in Beirut to show their support during the holidays. Moukheiber said during the visit that all Lebanese politicians visiting Syria should keep this case in mind and he asked Syria to admit the existence of the problem. He also called on all Lebanese to visit the tent erected in the garden to show their solidarity.
