The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

July 19, 2010 - Now Lebanon - An-Nahar: LF ministers discuss detainees issue during Damascus visit

An-Nahar newspaper reported on Monday that Lebanese Forces ministers Ibrahim Najjar and Salim Wardeh, who traveled to Damascus along with a Lebanese delegation headed by Prime Minister Saad Hariri on Sunday, brought up the issue of the missing Lebanese and detainees in Syrian prisons during meetings held with Syrian officials.
Lebanon and Syria signed on Sunday 17 bilateral agreements and memoranda of understanding following talks between Hariri and his Syrian counterpart, Mohammad Naji Ottari, in Damascus.
