July 27, 2010 - Now Lebanon - Nasrallah predicting STL’s verdict, Jouzo says

Mufti of Mount Lebanon Sheikh Mohammad Ali Jouzo said on Tuesday that Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah is predicting the Special Tribunal for Lebanon’s (STL) verdict, the National News Agency (NNA) reported.

This comes after Nasrallah said earlier in July that the tribunal would indict Hezbollah members for the 2005 assassination of former Prime Minister Rafik Hariri.

Those accusing the STL of being politicized should provide evidence of their claims, Jouzo said.

According to the mufti, the purpose of the accusations against the STL is to impede the tribunal’s work.
