The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

July 25, 2010 - Now Lebanon - Fatfat: Hariri unaware of content of STL’s indictment

In an interview with Al-Balad newspaper published on Sunday, Lebanon First bloc MP Ahmad Fatfat said that Prime Minister Saad Hariri did not know the content of the Special Tribunal for Lebanon (STL)’s pending indictment.“No one knows about the indictment’s content and all reports saying otherwise are only speculations,” Fatfat said.“We trust in STL’s work,” he added.The STL is probing the 2005 assassination of former Prime Minister Rafik Hariri. There are reports that some Hezbollah members might be named in the indictment.
