July 25, 2010 - Naharnet - Roger Deeb: Nasrallah Psychologically Preparing Supporters for Indictment

Former Cabinet Minister Roger Deeb said Sunday that Hizbullah leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah was "physiologically" preparing his supporters for any indictment in the assassination of ex-PM Rafik Hariri.
"I noticed that Nasrallah is psychologically readying his partisans for any court ruling that could turn against him," Deeb said in an interview with the Voice of Lebanon radio station.

"Some use intimidation to ease the atmosphere of war and internal problems to give the impression that there is no war," Deeb told the Voice of Lebanon radio station.

"When Israel becomes certain it has access to technology to deter missiles then this will be a signal for a possible war," he thought.

Deeb believed that Hizbullah was concerned over international tribunal indictments to be issued in the Hariri case and in the south and disputes with UNIFIL, which might pull out – something that Speaker Nabih Berri does not want.
