July 28, 2010 - Now Lebanon - Farid Habib says March 14 will not allow STL to falsely accuse anyone

Lebanese Forces bloc MP Farid Habib told Al-Anbaa newspaper in an interview published on Wednesday that the March 14 alliance will not allow the Special Tribunal for Lebanon (STL) to falsely accuse any Lebanese faction for the 2005 murder of former Prime Minister Rafik Hariri.

Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah’s comments on the tribunal should be considered assumptions until the STL releases its indictment, he added.

This comes after the Hezbollah chief said last week that the tribunal would indict Hezbollah members for the Rafik Hariri assassination.

Habib also praised Nasrallah’s call for the Lebanese leaders to meet to discuss the STL’s pending indictment.
